The WPL (England) Regulations 2009 come into force on 1 October 2009 resulting in workplace parking tax.

If you are a Company who has 11 or more employee parking spaces then you may be charged £250 per parking space each year by your local authority.

The scheme is not due to be implemented until 2012 but for large businesses could potentially result in huge additional costs, (although these can be passed on to your staff if you wish!)
